Guarded and Guided

In this strange and surreal season,
speculations suddenly stand up!
ideas and ideologies can become idols
....golden calves crafted from fool's gold
-conspiracy theory connoisseurs
forcing fearful earfuls
of their opinionated opinions on us
as new news articles bombard our minds
until we draw a line in the sand
and say we refuse to lend our ears
to anything but ‘true’ truth
remembering that
consequently faith comes by hearing
and hearing by the Word of God
because it is by God’s Holy Spirit
that we are guarded and guided,
not just in this time,
so we know
where to go
and
where not to go
in the pathways of our thoughts…

It is of the utmost importance
that we clearly hear His Voice
which is strong enough to stand on
not to be tempted to build our lives
on the shifting sands of the media
-nothing has changed in this regard.

No matter what season we’re in
truth cannot be bent
it always springs up straight and strong
so we can have supernatural surety and security.
