All-Encompassing Love

I never had really thought about this before listening to a song sung by the late Elvis Presley…
‘If that isn’t Love’
that Jesus left the splendour of Heaven
knowing what His assignment on earth was…
I wonder whether Jesus often thought of that
in His thirty three years
while walking with the wounded, the well and unwell…
Was that thought at the back of His mind
or did He focus on the fact
that in a blink He would be back
where He belonged
because
He knew His Heavenly Father’s love
for Him
and humanity.
