Standing Strong and Secure

When the enemy comes
to hypnotize me into believing
I'm helpless and hopeless
I scrape my strength together and stand on
God's timeless Words
allowing His arms to under-gird my heart
because I know I am not alone in this battle...

I can stand strong and secure
with the assurance
that
-Father God fights for me
-Jesus is forever interceding for me
-Holy Spirit continues to counsel and comfort my heart
because these words have stood up in my heart and stand the test of time:
when the enemy comes in like a flood
God lifts me up
because the battle doesn't belong to me.

I dig my heels into this truth.
