Unconditioned

When all kinds of conditions have been placed
on us throughout our lives while living under negative conditions,
we find that they have dug deep ditches
into the fibre of our beings
and that our thinking became conditioned to think a certain way
causing us to begin believing untruths and half-truths.
-a mindset set in wet cement
and now those mindsets don’t only manage our minds
but control our thinking
and we have to begin the painful process of pulling out the weeds
then planting seeds, watering, waiting and watching for them
to grow and flourish
into fragrant flowers
in fertile forests
with trees that tower over our lives
enabling us to breathe fresher faith for the future
not towering over our lives;
descending on us in deep darkness…

We have to unlearn learnt behaviour
as we lean on Holy Spirit to help us
to not only accept but receive
God’s unconditional love
in our hearts
realising the value He places on our lives
as Holy Spirit helps us
through helping hands
that tenderly touch our lives…

Our thought life is transformed
one thought at a time
by beginning to believe
that we are worthy
because He is.
