Your Kingdom Come …
Jesus,
You,
better than anyone else,
know the fickleness of men …
In a matter of hours
those who shouted Your praises
proclaiming You to be King of the Jews
shouted ‘Crucify Him!’
dismissed
disregarded
discarded
they hoped You’d disappear.
I’m left wondering
where were the ones you fed?
where were those who You’d healed?
where were those who You’d raised from the dead?
where were those who You delivered from demons?
where was the multitude who witnessed Your miracles?
Why were their voices so faint that they couldn’t be heard above the crowd?
-Had doubt set in?
Even when the frenzied mob in their moment of madness
didn’t shout Your praises?
calling for Your crucifixion
amongst snide remarks
remarkably You remain
KING OF KINGS
You don’t just say You are
I am
where am I?
when treated with contempt
-with I AM
very secure in You knowing
where I am.
Even when the crowd didn't crown you
You are crowned.

This is a specific time every year where the world stops as we celebrate with grateful hearts what Jesus, our Saviour sacrificed to save our souls and bring freedom to our lives and even though we are locked up in lives that have caught us by surprise, with this lock down, I am reassured that He is not caught by surprise because He lives outside of time as we know it. We may have been sideswiped by a curve ball we didn't see coming but His Kingdom is coming! Come with me and focus on the Only One Who knows what is to come in the age to come... I want to lift the Name of Jesus over each and every one who reads this ... Come to Him and as He draws you into His comforting arms, may you know that they under-gird you and may He open our eyes to see the armies of angels all around us as we shift our focus focusing on what is unseen. Let us become still at this time and know that He is God.
