Not Chosen
Jesus
They didn’t call Your Name.
Didn’t choose You.
Did You already know?
in that seemingly endless moment
of confused silence
before the hoarse screams
of a frenzied crowd
pierced Your senses
“we choose Barabbas!!!”
“give us Barabbas!!!”
They wanted him
not You…
a man of sin
not
a sinless Man…
Questions rage inside of me
How could they?
Couldn’t they see?
What injustice
before our Heavenly Father stepped in
bringing justice …
You were chosen
for a Higher calling...
You were chosen
-are still chosen
will always be chosen
for You are
THE CHOSEN ONE.
