Your Word vs words

We must not allow words to seep into our spirit
that are untrue …
or even words that are removed from reality;
-not just not believing negative words
but not even receiving them into our spirits
or giving them power over our lives
and be quick to cancel any confusion they create
reinforcing the truth of Your Word
believing what You said and say
that it’s Your purposes and plans
that will prevail and come to pass...
Then we also have to clean up the clutter
in our minds caused by mere men or even ourselves;
not even allowing the residue of negativity
to stain our souls
and as we wash our worlds with Your Word
You will restore our spiritual sight, giving us insight
to ‘see’ that we can’t fight what not’s flesh with flesh
and to remember that what looked like defeat on the cross
was the world’s ultimate victory
and as we follow in Your footsteps
our lives will reflect Yours…
and even when the engraved words on our graves
fade from the passage of time taking its toll,
Your Word will always remain.
