unlocking our looking

God popped a pearl
onto the black velvet sky tonight;
shimmering between the diamonds ….
It shines light into the darkness
until it swaps places with the sun
as a day dawns
delivering sunshine’s song ….

the moon melts,
stars disappear
black velvet becomes blue
and pairs of birds delight our decks
with their distinct mutterings of the morning
until clouds cover
the soft blue
sprinkling sparkling sunflakes and rain simultaneously
in a delightful dance as diamonds drop down from the sky
when the sun peeps its head past the thick grey
washing our worlds with wonder
dusting off our dreams….
holding up our hopes
propping up our peace
filling up our faith
lifting up our love
lighting up our lives!

we behold beauty beyond belief

when we fling open the shutters of our hearts
and smell the fragrance of freedom
wrapped in the gift of each flower;
each delicate petal becomes a miracle
every sunrise and sunset becomes a masterpiece
that the Master pieces together with His Peace.
