Managing our Minds
In this time of uncertainty
fret and fear
can paralyze portions of our minds
and we need to combat frightful fear
focusing on the Face of Jesus …
We re-frame our futures
when we trust Him that all that concerns us
is in His Hands
He comes to us with a plan for our problems
when we seek some seasoned counsel
from Holy Spirit
Who is our Counselor and Comforter
and has been there from the beginning of time
reminding us to put our trust in God
not man ...
not allowing the fear of man to ensnare us.
The Scriptures say ‘The fear of man lays a snare
but that when we trust in the Lord we are safe
as we pray every day
turning our problems into prayers
we trust Someone outside of time
to turn the tide
He gives us new resolutions
which far outweigh New Year’s resolutions
and suddenly we see strategies
we never saw before
and start thinking thoughts
that profoundly impact our activities
as healthy activity overtakes mind numbing inactivity
of scrolling through social media on our mobile phones
[freeing us of the fog of 'fluff']
making our minds mobile
as we walk in the direction of hope
thinking the best, not the worst;…

Philippians 4:6 vs 8 The Passion Translation
“6 Don’t be pulled in different directions or worried about a thing. Be saturated in prayer throughout each day, offering your faith-filled requests before God with overflowing gratitude. Tell him every detail of your life, 7 then God’s wonderful peace that transcends human understanding, will make the answers known to you through Jesus Christ.[a] 8 So keep your thoughts continually fixed on all that is authentic and real, honorable and admirable, beautiful and respectful, pure and holy, merciful and kind. And fasten your thoughts on every glorious work of God,[b] praising him always.
Loved how The Message Bible put this at the end…
God, who makes everything work together, will work you into his most excellent harmonies.”
