Journeying in faith from Silent Saturday, through Resurrection Sunday to Miraculous Monday!

Journeying in faith from Silent Saturday,
through Resurrection Sunday to Miraculous Monday!

Somewhere between offered prayer
and answered prayer
there is either an atmosphere of anticipation
or a tinge of doubt
but
Jesus always goes above and beyond!
We have to take Him at His word
and as we heed the words of faith
over the voice of fear
we walk in the direction
of an answered prayer
...prayers

He says:
‘In this world you will have tribulation
but take heart I have overcome the world’
‘I am with you always to the end of the age’
‘I will never leave you nor forsake you’
‘Come to me all who are weary and heavily burdened
and I will give you rest’

We can be assured that
He will answer our prayers
either while we are still
on this planet or in His Presence
in our loved ones’ lives who are still living
on this earth
[My precious Ouma’s prayers are a testimony to that]

He endured and suffered so much
so that we can know His love, peace, joy
and freedom
in the deepest places of our lives
We are chosen
called to become faithful followers of the Lamb
who conquered death
leaving the grave empty
so we can be filled with hope
on our journey.

While listening to a Max Lucado message Sunday morning where he quoted from the Scripture below, these words stood out to me.

Go back home your son will live and he found out that the fever had left him while he was still travelling towards his home

I sensed God saying
- Trust Me
Your granddaughter will live and not die and proclaim what I have done
[the exact same words He gave me when my Daddy was very sick and He not only healed but saved Him]

her fever will disappear

[I was so surprised that he quoted this Scripture relating to a fever leaving]

so as I journeyed through from Silent Saturday through Resurrection Sunday and slipped into Monday morning, praying many prayers, I believe that it will be a miraculous Monday even though no reassuring words from my daughter have come to me as yet this morning… I keep walking with Jesus words towards our answered prayer for my granddaughter, my Babydoll because He is the Resurrection and the Life and I keep reminding myself that He loves her more than me and has a plan and purpose for her long life…

Scriptures and References

John 4 vs 47-53
“46–47 Jesus entered the village of Cana of Galilee where he had transformed water into wine. And there was a governmental official in Capernaum who had a son who was very sick and dying. When he heard that Jesus had left Judea and was staying in Cana of Galilee, he decided to make the journey to Cana.[a] When he found Jesus he begged and pleaded with Him, “You must come with me to Capernaum and heal my son!”
…Then Jesus looked him in the eyes and said, “Go back home now. I promise you, your son will live and not die.”
The man took Jesus at his word [put his trust in what Jesus had said and believed in his heart the words of Jesus] and departed setting off for home.
51 While he was still on the way, his servants met him with the good news that his boy was living. 52 When he inquired as to the time when his son got better, they said to him, “Yesterday, at one in the afternoon,
the fever left him.”
53 Then the father realized that this was the exact time at which Jesus had said to him, “Your son will live.” So he and his whole household believed.”
