Words and Poetry By Brenda Botha, Inspired by God.
Unregrettable
What has been said
Cannot be ‘unsaid’…
Unwavering Word
My God
My Good Shepherd
I trust You to guide and guard me
Unwavering Hope
Hope
is a life line to hold onto
in the stormy seas of life…
Unwavering in the Waves
Our future’s out of focus
and no matter how much I adjust my eyes
I can’t see security
until I focus on Jesus
Standing Strong and Secure
When the enemy comes
to hypnotize me into believing I’m helpless and hopeless
I scrape my strength together and stand on
God’s timeless Words
Unbroken
Broken hearts
Broken bodies
Broken lives
Broken bread
with wine
‘unbreaks’ brokenness
Grace’s Face
Grace’s face
is the face of Jesus
-full of forgiveness …
Tug-of-War-on the Water
As I was reading this specific Scripture
from Matthew 14 vs 22-33 in the Passion Translation
regarding Jesus walking on water
Constant Companion
Staggering and stumbling through circumstances,
we need to remember …

About
Brenda has always loved ‘playing with words’, sees writing as a gift from God, and can trace her passion from as early as primary. Writing in both English and Afrikaans she explores the plethora of emotion afforded to each language with finesse and sometimes even grit.
She has self published her own book, Everyday Crosses, and has been published in magazines, blogs, various church news letters and more recently had one her poems turned into a song, a life long dream.
Her Facebook page has a collection of personal contemplations inspired from her faith in Jesus Christ, including short stories capturing her grandchildren’s formation and life lessons growing up.
